About me – My Garden is My World

Thank you for reading The Morning Gardener. Everyone is welcome. Why is it the morning gardener? Because I am a very early morning person and that’s when I spend most of my time in the garden. As the sun comes up and the birds are just starting to sing and the sun peaks over the edge of the world casting pastel colors and shafts of light and shadow across the grass I am out in a quiet world checking the plants, working the soil, or just watching the sun glint off the dew dripping from the leaves having coffee. This is my time. It may be yours too.

My Garden Is My World

My garden is my world. It soothes and calms my spirit when the times of stress and drama seek to overwhelm me. It gives me a place to be creative and watch things grow at the pace of life. And it provides a few things to put on the table with fresh flavor and beauty in varieties you can’t get at your local store. Add sunshine and fresh air and I feel renewed along with a feeling of accomplishment. The rain falls, the sun shines, the wind blows…… and I watch my garden grow.

Long before the snow melts each year I am combing through my seed catalogs planning out my wish list for the spring, taking note of what didn’t work last year, and imagining what I would like to try new this year in the garden. Many seasons have passed since I planted my first seeds and through the years I have learned many gardening lessons from experience, researching new techniques, and tips from old timers passed down through their families. I have a lot to share.

Gardens Improve Lives and Lower Stress

I enjoy spending time in my garden and I hope you do too and you’re here to follow that passion. If you are just a beginning gardener or more experienced, I welcome you all to share the journey. I have been growing my gardens from seed for many decades. If you want to grow food to put on the table that is healthy, flavorful, and fresh or you want to enjoy flowers you can’t find at the local garden store, I will share how you can grow plants of your own, find options to do it at less cost, and together make our world a better place. Plan your retreat today. One garden space at a time.

Let’s Help Your Garden Grow

If you could grow your own food and lower your grocery bill, would you do it? If you could have a place of peace and beauty that was designed by you for you, would you do it? If you could have more healthy and better flavored vegetables that you knew what went into them to be free of pesticides and other contaminants, would you do it? How about lowering your carbon footprint for climate change or even the exercise you get from gardening and staying active? If these are things that interest you I would like to share with you the knowledge and tools to help you have a thriving garden. Starting a garden from seeds can be very rewarding. Let me show you how.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

Tim Payne
